About Us

Sweet Tooth Smiles Dentistry and Orthodontics has been providing excellent dental care to the Richmond, TX, community since July 2018.


Our mission is to provide the highest quality services at very reasonable prices. We have earned a distinguished reputation in the area for our painless treatments and our office’s comfortable atmosphere.


Whether you haven’t been to the dentist in a while or you are just in the market for a great family-friendly dentist, look no further! Sweet Tooth Smiles Dentistry and Orthodontics can take care of essentially all your dental needs. We see patients of all dental backgrounds and never judge or lecture patients. We focus on finding individualized solutions to help each patient achieve and maintain optimal oral health. 


Dr. Khan speaks English, Spanish, and Urdu/Hindi. Our whole staff is pretty multilingual as well!

Dr. Mohammed Arsalan Khan

Dr. Khan, a native Houstonian, earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the prestigious UT Health San Antonio Dental School where he graduated with Distinction in Dental Education. After graduation, he and his wife Amreena (Chicago-native) decided to spend a few years of their marriage in San Antonio. Before spending 15 years of his life studying and practicing dentistry in San Antonio, His connection to the city of Houston always remained close to his heart.

Dr. Khan is committed to continuing education and takes many advanced courses each year to enhance his skills to better serve the dental needs of his patients and provide them with a gentle and comfortable dental experience. Dr. Khan enjoys dentistry with a passion and loves to help patients out in any way possible.

During his free time, he likes to spend time with his wife and two daughters as well as his family. He loves to exercise, watch and play basketball, football and baseball. He’s an avid Rockets, Texans, and Astros Fan. He loves to eat all types of cuisines.

Dr. Karen Khan, DMD

Dr. Karen Khan was born and raised on the East Coast in Virginia. She received her Bachelors from George Mason University in Virginia. She then attended dental school in the Midwest at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. After graduating dental school, she and her husband moved to Houston where they now reside in Katy, Texas with their two beautiful kids. With extensive training in a wide variety of dental procedures and commitment to learn the latest advancements in dentistry, Dr. Karen Khan is passionate to provide you with exceptional dental care to meet all your dental needs. She also volunteers her time to provide dentistry to the underserved, both locally and internationally. In her spare time, Dr. Karen Khan loves traveling, exploring and spending time with her family. Dr. Karen Khan is excited to be a part of the Sweet Tooth Dental team and serve all of your dental needs.
